Underground Phenoms prides itself on finding players sometimes overlooked by sponsored programs and ranking services. The 2019 UGP Phenom Discovery Tournament did not disappoint. UGP was fortunate enough to have Bull City Aces in the house. Bull City is a skilled athletic team, which with all of it's key components working together will pick you apart. Cruising to the 11th grade championship without much of a challenge Bull City was lead by it's big-man Michael Crisp.
Michael Crisp upon first glance looks like a young Chris Bosh in length and body type. He is by all accounts what today's prototype big-man is, a 6'8" athletic big who can run the floor playing from rim to rim. Michael Crisp is both "Smooth and Crisp" in his movements and his game. He has the ability to alter and block shots on defense and give you the mid-range and low post game on offense. Michael is a 2021 prospect out of Hillside New Tech in Durham N.C. The upside on his game is tremendous and lets just say it will be well worth watching him develop over the next two years. College coaches should take note as guys like Michael Crisp are not easy to find, and in today's game every program needs a versatile big
